Industrial/Specialty Cable Applications
Mercury Wire Products has extensive experience designing and producing composite cables (many different components under a common jacket). There may be various AWG size conductors, coax cables, separate shielded/jacketed subcomponents, fiber optic/copper composites, fiberglass rods and combinations of electrical components and extruded tubes. Cables can be engineered and manufactured to comply with UL and CSA standards, RoHS compliant and meet stringent customer specification requirements.
Using custom cables designed for specific applications means there is never a reason to compromise on performance. Cables are provided to exact length requirements with a variety of customized print legends and color matches to your specific application. With Mercury Wire's policy of no minimum order policy and rapid response, why settle for anything less?
Mercury's highly engineered extrusion capability allows us to design and build complex cables combining non-traditional elements (tubing, optical fiber, push rods) with electrical components.
Coaxial cables are designed to meet specific electrical values. Mercury offers solid or foam insulation, low loss, enhanced shield designs and small diameter and reduced weight cables.
Mercury's composite cables are used extensively in diverse applications. Some of the specialty markets we serve include plasma cutting, welding, high end digital audio, emergency vehicles, automotive air bags, and high repetitive performance and enhanced flex equipment applications.
