Q03 – What is social distancing and how does it apply at work?

Simply put, social distancing is about maintaining physical space between yourself and others.  It is one of the most effective ways to reduce the spread of viruses like COVID-19.  Mercury is adopting the CDC recommendation to keep at least six(6) feet between yourself and others.  We are temporarily relocating some work areas and providing additional areas for team members during breaks.

When at Mercury, pay attention to where you are relative to your fellow team members.  Spread out during meetings or discussions and especially during breaks or lunch.  Keep groups small so you can each maintain your own space… Six feet!!!.

Mercury is also dividing the facility into distinct zones based on where team members work and spend time. The goal is to reduce movement between zones in order to reduce the chance of spreading the virus.
