Mercury Wire was proud to exhibit at the 2025 International WorkBoat Show in New Orleans, connecting with engineers, innovators, and teams building for the marine and subsea world.
Throughout the show, our team shared how custom wire, cable, and assembly solutions can support systems operating in harsh environments where durability, flexibility, and reliability matter most.
Built for Marine and Subsea Applications
At Booth 347, we spoke with attendees working on underwater robotics, subsea sensors, shipboard electrical systems, and other demanding marine applications. Many conversations focused on how cable performance impact’s reliability when systems are exposed to saltwater, pressure, vibration, and constant motion.
Our team discussed how Mercury Wire collaborates with engineers to design and build solutions that fit real world conditions, from early prototypes to production builds.
Sharing Real World Experience
One highlight of the show was sharing the story of how a Mercury Wire custom subsea cable helped power sonar and ROV equipment that uncovered a World War era shipwreck 850 meters below the surface. It was a powerful example of how cable reliability can directly support exploration and discovery in extreme environments.
Attendees also had the opportunity to request free design reviews and talk through existing challenges or new concepts with our engineering team.
Thank You for the Conversations
We appreciate everyone who stopped by Booth 347 to ask questions, share ideas, and connect with our team. The conversations reinforced the importance of collaboration and listening when building solutions for complex marine systems.
If we did not get a chance to connect during the show, we would still love to continue the conversation and learn more about what you are working on.
Thank you to everyone who made the 2025 International WorkBoat Show a great experience.
