On Saturday, April 25th, members of the Mercury Wire team stepped outside the shop and into the community, joining neighbors and local organizations for Spencer Cleanup Day. Hosted by the First Congregational Church of Spencer, the event brought volunteers together at the American Legion on Main Street for a morning of cleanup across town. Registration kicked off at 9am, with crews working through the morning and wrapping up with lunch at 11:30.
For Mercury Wire, showing up for Spencer is a natural extension of who we are. We’ve called this town home since 1967, and taking care of it matters to us. Community involvement is baked into how we think about our role as a business — not just as a manufacturer on Mercury Wire Drive, but as a neighbor. We’re proud of the team members who gave their Saturday morning to make Spencer a little cleaner and a little greener.
