This summer, Mercury Wire teams took on the 2025 Walking Challenge, a companywide event that brought together fitness, friendly competition, and plenty of team spirit.
Over the course of the challenge, teams tracked steps, powered through zombie themed adventures, and encouraged one another to keep moving. The result was an experience that blended movement, collaboration, and fun.
By the Numbers
Across all teams, the challenge added up to some impressive totals:
- 33,196,873 steps taken
- 279,861 power generated
- 81 zombie adventures completed
- 68 survivors
Several teams stood out with strong performances:
- Walking Warriors finished in first place with 648,109 steps
- Champions followed with 594,452 steps
- Wire Warriors logged 458,119 steps
- The Walking Dead closed out the challenge with 406,020 steps
Every team contributed to the overall momentum and energy of the challenge.
More Than a Step Count
While the numbers tell part of the story, the Walking Challenge was really about showing up for one another. Teams supported each other throughout the summer, celebrated progress, and stayed engaged through shared goals and friendly competition.
Celebrating the Finish
The challenge wrapped up with a celebration featuring games, summer atmosphere, and food from Savage Wraps. Awards were handed out to recognize team efforts and a strong finish across the board.
Here is to a strong finish and an even stronger team.
