Wire Chasers Return to the Tree.1 Run for Fun

Group of women celebrating a run

The Wire Chasers are back. For the second year running, our Mercury Wire team laced up for the Tree.1 Run for Fun, the 5K that supports cancer research and local families in need. Hills included, again.

A tradition worth keeping

Showing up once is a nice gesture. Showing up again is a commitment. This year the run felt less like an event on the calendar and more like something our team looks forward to. Same hills, same cause, a little more familiarity with the course.

The energy carried through the whole morning, from the first stretch to the last stretch of pavement. What stayed constant was the reason everyone was there. Supporting organizations that do work that matters.

Where the miles go

The run benefits the Festival of Giving Trees and helps fund important work by groups such as the Silent Spring Institute, the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition, and The Cancer Center at Harrington Hospital.

Showing up, again

Whether running, walking, or cheering from the sideline, everyone brought heart to the morning. Coming back a second year is a reminder that community involvement is not a one-time thing. It is a habit you build.

We are proud of our Wire Chasers for representing Mercury Wire and returning to support such meaningful causes. The Tree.1 Run for Fun reflects the values we care about and the community we are proud to be part of. We will see everyone at the starting line next year.
